Recipe Suggestion:
For a vegan recipe why not replace the minced beef with meat free mince or mixed beans.
Cooking instructions: Oven
Before cooking: Preheat the oven to 200°C, fan 180°C, Gas Mark 6. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a frying pan. During cooking: Fry the lean beef mince and diced onion in a pan for 6 minutes over a high heat until browned. Drain off any excess fat. Mix the contents of the sachet with 300ml cold water and pour over the mince. Add the diced carrots and peas. Bring to the boil stirring continuously, and then transfer to an ovenproof casserole dish. Spoon the cooked mashed potato over the mince and cook in the oven for 30 minutes. After cooking: Check food is piping hot. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only.
